You can either purchase a ready made massage oil containing lavender, or you can make your own as it's so easy. All you need is a good quality carrier oil and a bottle of 100% pure essential lavender oil. Recipe to make your own lavender oil massage oil
Here's what you need to make your own massage oil containing lavender:-
1 teaspoon base oil (you can use olive, jojoba, sunflower or sweet almond oil)
3-4 drops of lavender oil
Simply combine the carrier oil with the base oil. You can always make up a larger batch and store it in a dark glass bottle so it's ready for massage therapy at a moments notice.
Pour some of this lavender massage oil onto your hands, then rub together a little to warm them up. From here you can massage back, shoulders and neck to melt away the days tensions, or apply directly to a sore, aching muscle in need.
